Air Jordan goes green with #23

"It's Nike's first basketball shoe designed under its "Considered" ethos, which aims to reduce waste and use environmentally friendly materials wherever possible. The Air Jordan XX3 will be released in three hyped-up rounds from January to February, starting with a limited edition to be sent to only 23 retailers to be sold for $230 and concluding with the national launch at $185."
The first Jordans broke the white-sneaker convention with its black and red design. Nike paid the $5K/game fine every day for Jordan to continue to wear them. The endorsement, and the line of Air Jordans, changed the face of the industry. Now the 23rd installment is being designed with some eco-friendly features. Green X Jordan: now that's a sign of the times.
